TCABSE-J is an open access online interdisciplinary sciences journal that accepts and publishes the following categories of publications:

Original research articles:
-
Full length articles: This format contains a minimum of 5 journal pages up to a maximum of 10 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. The authors are responsible for the originality of the research and should sign a declaration letter confirming that the research is completely original. The manuscript should contain a clear and concise title that summarizes the work followed by an abstract of not more than 150 words along with a graphical abstract figure. Mini articles: This format contains a minimum of 3 journal pages up to a maximum of 5 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. All other instructions mentioned above for full length articles apply for mini articles also. Review articles:
-
Full length reviews: This format contains a minimum of 5 journal pages up to a maximum of 10 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. The authors should clearly cite the past work done by research groups with appropriate references. Additionally, advances in the field must be discussed (if relevant) and the authors should clearly state their perspective of the topic with details. The manuscript should contain a clear and concise title that summarizes the work followed by an abstract of not more than 150 words along with a graphical abstract figure. Mini reviews: This format is allowed only for topics that include novelty rather than summarizing the research advances in the field and it contains a maximum of 3 journal pages including text, figures (one figure mandatory), tables, references, etc. Acceptance of mini-reviews for publication in TCABSE-J is completely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. Commentaries & Perspectives: These are usually one to two journal pages long, clear, concise and focused publications. One figure is mandatory in addition to the text and references within the 2-3 journal pages limit. The authors should refrain themselves from including tables or multiple figures in order to maintain the page limit. For further details please check our published articles. NOTE: Commentaries and Perspectives are usually by invitation only! However, the author can still submit their Commentaries and Perspectives but acceptance for publication is completely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. Student thesis: This format can be submitted by the students as long as they include one faculty member from their home institution as their mentor. However, if students do not have a mentor, they can approach TCABS-E for mentorship.

Undergraduate/Masters thesis: This format contains a maximum of 5 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. with a clear title and graphical abstract.

Doctoral thesis: This format contains a maximum of 10 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. The manuscript should have an abstract not exceeding 150 words, graphical abstract, hypothesis, specific aims and clear conclusions at the end.

Conference proceedings: This format contains a minimum of 3 journal pages up to a maximum of 10 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. The title should contain the name of the conference/symposium/colloquium, etc. that can be uniquely identified by searching online. Graphical abstract is not needed for this format. The authors are completely responsible for assuring that they are not including any confidential data that was presented in the meeting unless the presenters at the meeting did not have a conflict with this. These manuscripts will not be sent out for review and will be finalized by the Editor-in-Chief to determine the acceptance of the submitted manuscripts. This format may be published as proceedings of the meeting or meeting minutes. For further details please check our published articles.

Communications: This format contains a maximum of 3 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. with a clear and concise title, graphical abstract, and text abstract containing no more than 150 words. For further details please check our published articles. We have three types of Communications as listed below:

Communications:​ The authors can use this format if they do not have enough data to submit either a mini- or full research article. However, novelty is given priority along with an interdisciplinary application discussed in detail.

Strategic Communications: This format is suitable for those authors who are proposing a significant solution for an existing or a novel problem. NOTE: The authors should clearly state that any further data obtained from such proposal shall be published in the future issues of TCABSE-J.

Technical Communications: This format is suitable for experiments done in the laboratory with proper controls testing new reagents/kits, etc. New laboratory methods can also be published with enough supporting data.

Reports: This format contains a maximum of 3 journal pages including text, figures, tables, references, etc. with a clear and concise title, graphical abstract, and text abstract containing no more than 150 words. For further details please check our published articles. We have four types of Reports as listed below:

Analysis Reports: The authors should pick one focused problem in particular and perform a thorough in silico / in vitro / in vivo analysis that shows novelty that was not known before.

Application Reports: The authors can pick one problem and a novel solution for that problem rather than just the analysis of the problem.

Case study Reports: These are exclusively dedicated to medical and pharmacy students and faculty.

Structure Reports: A novel X-ray/NMR/Cryo-EM structure should be briefly described along with necessary data such as electron density maps, NMR spectra, etc.
